An Analysis of Height and Weight of School Children in Oslo, 1985

Childrens height and weight have been measured systematically every 5th year in Oslo since 1920. This survey covers the years 1980 and 1985, height, weight, school, class, year of birth and citizenship for 20% of all girls in the schools in Oslo have been registered. In 1985 it was also registered if menstruation had occured. The measurments was conducted by school nurses and the sample consists of 4531 girls in 1980 and 4205 girls in 1985.

自1920年起，奥斯陆地区每五年便会系统性地开展儿童身高与体重测量工作。本次数据集涵盖1980年与1985年的调查数据，已登记奥斯陆全市在校女童中20%的身高、体重、就读学校、班级、出生年份及公民身份信息。1985年的调查中还额外记录了女童是否已出现初潮。所有测量工作均由学校护士完成，1980年与1985年的样本量分别为4531名与4205名女童。
