Benchmark I: Transport and biodegradation of dissolved organic matter<br><br>In this benchmark, numerical results using three numerical solution strategies (global implicit approach, nodal-OS scheme, and IP-OS scheme) are compared with the analytical solution from Van Genuchten (1981).<br><br>Benchmark II: Coupled diffusion-dissolution problem with strong feedback of porosity change<br><br>In this benchmark, numerical results using the IP-OS scheme are compared with the analytical solution from Hayek et al. (2011).<br><br>Benchmark III: Advection-dispersion-dissolution problem with feedback of porosity and permeability changes<br><br>In this benchmark, numerical results using the IP-OS scheme are compared with the experimental data from a flow-through column experiment.<br><br>References:<br><br>Van Genuchten, M.
