The cartographic model 1:50 000 – grid (KM50-R) is the digital state map of the entire Austrian territory in a basic scale of 1:50 000. It is free of blades and georeferenced. The update takes place nationwide at periodic intervals but also on occasions in the event of significant infrastructural changes. The Austrian map 1:50 000 (ÖK50) – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) – as well as the Austrian map 1:25 000 (ÖK25V) is derived from the KM50-R. This 50 km x 50 km tile is one of a total of 63 tiles, which together cover the territory of Austria1:5万栅格制图模型（KM50-R）是覆盖奥地利全境的基础比例尺1:5万官方数字地图。该数据已完成地理配准，且未采用传统印刷分幅裁切形式。其更新机制分为全国范围定期更新与重大基础设施变更后即时更新两类。奥地利1:5万地图（ÖK50）及奥地利1:25万地图（ÖK25V）均由KM50-R衍生而来，其中奥地利1:5万地图（ÖK50）系与联邦国防部（BMLV）合作完成。该数据集以50km×50km为单幅数字瓦片，全奥境内共包含63幅此类瓦片，可完整覆盖奥地利全域。
