Stranded mRNA biological replicates (3) of promastigotes of Leishmania infantum JPCM5 strain (MCAN/ES/98/LLM-724) cultured at 26 °C in M199 medium (Sigma-Aldrich) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal calf serum at the logarithmic growth phase.

Promastigotes of Leishmania infantum JPCM5 strain (MCAN/ES/98/LLM-724) were cultured at 26 °C in M199 medium (Sigma-Aldrich) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal calf serum at the logarithmic growth phase. The cell density of the cultures (3 biological replicates) were: 9 million/ml (sample Jpc1), 6.8 million/ml (Jpc2) and 7 million/ml (Jpc3). Total RNA was isolated using the TRI-reagent method following the manufacturer's instructions (Sigma-Aldrich). After polyA+ selection, and library preparation mRNA (stranded), 2×75 reads were generated by Illumina HiSeq (v4) platform.
