RADAR4Culture

RADAR4Culture is a low-threshold and easy-to use service for sustainable publication and preservation of cultural heritage research data. It offers free publication for any data type and format according to the FAIR principles, independent of the researcher´s institutional affiliation. Through persistent identifiers (DOI) and a guaranteed retention period of at least 25 years, the research data remain available, citable and findable long-term. Currently, the offer is aimed exclusively at researchers at publicly funded research institutions and (art) universities as well as non-commercial academies, galleries, libraries, archives and museums in Germany. No contract is required and no data publication fees are charged. The researchers are responsible for the upload, organisation, annotation and curation of research data as well as the peer-review process (as an optional step) and finally their publication.RADAR4Culture是一款低门槛、易操作的服务，用于开展文化遗产研究数据的可持续发布与保存工作。该服务遵循FAIR原则，可为任意类型与格式的研究数据提供免费发布服务，且不受研究者所属机构的隶属关系限制。依托持久标识符（DOI）与至少25年的保障留存期限，研究数据可实现长期可访问、可引用且可被发现。目前，该服务仅面向德国境内受公共资助的科研机构、（艺术）高校，以及非盈利学术机构、美术馆、图书馆、档案馆与博物馆的研究人员开放。无需签订合约，亦不收取数据发布费用。研究人员需自行负责研究数据的上传、整理、标注与编目，以及同行评审流程（该流程为可选步骤），最终完成数据发布。
