‌SPA一词源于拉丁文“Solus Par Agula”（Health by water）的字首：Solus（健康），Par（在）， Agula（水中），意指用水来达到健康，健康之水。SPA包括人们熟知的水疗、芳香按摩、沐浴、去死角等等。现代SPA主要透过人体的五大感官功能，即听觉（疗效音乐）、味觉（花草茶、健康饮食）、触觉（按摩、接触）、嗅觉（天然芳香精油）、视觉（自然或仿自然景观、人文环境）等达到全方位的放松，将精、气、神三者合一，实现身、心、灵的放松，如今SPA逐渐演变成现代美丽补给的代名词，水疗是SPA最普遍的形式。‌   为助力相关研究，CnOpenData推出全国Spa门店数据，覆盖全国34个省级行政区的83万家Spa门店信息，包含门店名称、省份、城市、区域、商圈、详细地址、经纬度、消费金额、评分等字段。

The term SPA is derived from the Latin acronym "Solus Par Agula", which literally means "Health by water": Solus represents health, Par denotes "in", and Agula stands for "water", signifying the attainment of health through water, i.e., healing water. SPA encompasses well-known practices such as hydrotherapy, aromatherapy massage, bathing, and exfoliation, among others. Modern SPA primarily achieves comprehensive relaxation by leveraging the five human sensory modalities: audition (therapeutic music), gustation (herbal tea, healthy diet), tactile sensation (massage, physical contact), olfaction (natural aromatic essential oils), and vision (natural or simulated natural landscapes, humanistic environments). It integrates the body's essence, qi, and spirit to realize the relaxation of the body, mind, and soul. Nowadays, SPA has gradually become a synonym for modern beauty nourishment, with hydrotherapy being the most prevalent form of SPA.

To facilitate relevant research, CnOpenData has launched the National Spa Store Dataset, which covers information of 830,000 spa stores across 34 provincial-level administrative regions in China. The dataset includes fields such as store name, province, city, district, business district, detailed address, longitude and latitude, consumption amount, and rating.
