Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. 本水主题数据集基于水文学（hydrology）构建，水文学是研究水体运动、分布与水质的学科，涵盖水文循环、水资源与流域环境可持续性。水文学包含地表水文学、水文地质学、流域管理与以水为核心的水质研究范畴。本数据集的水体（地表水与地下水）信息符合《2007年水法》（Water Act 2007）中的定义。

本主题包含如下水文要素：
- 地表水：指水道、湖泊或湿地中的水体，或自然降雨后径流或自然出露地表的地下水。
- 地下水：指地下储存并经抽取、导流或释放至该区域储存的水体，不包括地下储槽、管道或其他构筑物内留存的水体。
