Reproducibility dataset for "State Space Models for Epidemiological Surveillance of COVID-19"

This archive accompanies the PhD thesis "State Space Models for Epidemiological Surveillance of COVID-19" by Stefan Heyder (Technische Universität Ilmenau). It contains the processed inputs and model outputs that the notebooks under nbs/ in the source repository consume to produce all figures and tables in the thesis. Contents: thesis.pdf — the thesis itself data/raw — the raw files used to generat all subsequent data data/processed/ — cleaned RKI, KIT, ECDC, and Bundesagentur für Arbeit data data/results/ — model outputs for chapters 4.1 (showcase / Christmas models), 4.2 (regional growth factor model), and 4.3 (hospitalization nowcast) data/figures/ — small CSVs feeding the chapter-3 simulation figures README.md — full layout, reproduction instructions, and upstream attribution Source code is available at https://github.com/stefanheyder/dissertation. To reproduce, clone the repo, set up the Python (uv) and R (renv) environments, unpack this archive into the repository root so data/ overlays cleanly, and run the notebooks under nbs/. This deposit redistributes derived data from open epidemiological sources (RKI, KIT, ECDC, Bundesagentur für Arbeit, JHU CSSE). Each source is cited individually under "Related identifiers" and in the README.
