The key contact residues in the CDRs of the variable light chains of the VH5-51 derived anti-V3 mAbs in complex with the V3 peptides1.

1In a similar fashion as in Table 4 the contact residues (bold) are those which have more than 10 Å2 buried surface area in complex with the V3 peptide. Those contact residues that are present in the corresponding germline sequence are bold and underlined. The CDR L3, in contrast to CDR H3, is encoded in substantial part by VL germline gene, and the residues interacting with the peptide are also present in the corresponding germline.
