The underlying data for this study will not be openly available due to concerns over re-identification. Adults with cochlear implants are still rare in the general population (approximately 0.01% of the UK population, or approximately 1 in 10,000 people). This makes anonymity more challenging. The Patient Activation Measure data was collected under a research licence and deidentified data were shared with Insignia Health under the terms of this agreement.Bona fide researchers are welcome to contact the researcher if they wish to discuss this study further.
