This datasets contains bibliographic information of documents associated with scheduling algorithms related research. The datasets contain 553 documents which spans 54 years (1967-2021). The bibliographic search was conducted and extracted from the Scopus database on the 21st January 2021. Three separate searches were conducted; the first search string "Scheduling Algorithm*" fetched 40, 806 documents, the second "Multilevel queue" OR "Round Robin" OR "Shortest Job First" OR "First Come First Serve" OR "Shortest Remaining Time" OR "Priority queue" returned 261, 594 while the third search string "Makespan" OR "average waiting time" OR "turnaround time" OR "Context Switch*" OR "Completion time" OR "Resource allocation" OR "Time Quantum" OR "Grid computing" OR "Cloud Computing" OR "Edge Computing" returned 129, 256 documents. The wild card asterisk (*) ending some of the keywords in the search ensures that 0 or more characters are may complete the keywords. For example, "Context Switch*" means the search should select if available Context switch or Context Switches. The three search strings were later combined using the combine queries function on the Scopus document search page. There are Inclusion Criteria (IC) and Exclusion Criteria (EC) imposed on the search such as the result should include only documents written in English language, exclude all articles in press "aip". The combined queries ( ( TITLE-ABS-KEY ( "Scheduling Algorithm*" ) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY ( "Multilevel queue" OR "Round Robin" OR "Shortest Job First" OR "First Come First Serve" OR "Shortest Remaining Time" OR "Priority queue" ) ) ) AND ( TITLE-ABS-KEY ( "Makespan" OR "average waiting time" OR "turnaround time" OR "Context Switch*" OR "Completion time" OR "Resource allocation" OR "Time Quantum" OR "Grid computing" OR "Cloud Computing" OR "Edge Computing" ) ) AND ( LIMIT-TO ( LANGUAGE , "English" ) ) AND ( EXCLUDE ( PUBSTAGE , "aip" ) ) AND ( EXCLUDE ( SRCTYPE , "Undefined" ) ) resulted in a refined search containing 564 documents which spanned 1967 – 2021. 11 documents tagged “Na N – No Author Name” were removed. Therefore, the datasets contains 553 documents.<br>
