The origin of the risk characterises the real-world entity which, through its presence, represents a potential risk. This origin may be characterised by a name and, in some cases, a geographical object locating the actual entity causing the risk. The location of the entity and the knowledge of the dangerous phenomenon are used to define the risk pools, the risk-exposed areas that underpin the RPP.风险来源所表征的现实世界实体，其存在本身即代表潜在风险。该风险来源可通过名称加以描述，在部分场景中还可附带用于定位该风险实际成因实体的地理对象。实体的位置与危险现象的相关知识，被用于定义风险池——即支撑RPP的风险暴露区域。
