资源简介:
Here we provide EEG (electroencephalogram) data recorded during a visual spatial attention (VSA) experiment. VSA can be used to control a brain-computer interface (BCI). Our aim was to investigate the impact of predictability on decoding accuracy. The decoding task was to determine to which of the simultaneously presented items the participant shifted his/her attention. By determining the visual field a participant's attention was shifted to, the intended target item can be determined. In total, 20 participants were presented with 192 sequences of ten visual stimuli in which a red and a green open or close ring was simultaneously presented in opposite visual hemifields. In eight runs we modified the predictability of the target side (predictable or random), the predictability in time (constant or jittered onset) and the presentation speed (faster or slower).
