Overview This dataset comprises detailed spatial information on storm water inlets located within Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The data supports infrastructure planning, maintenance, and environmental management related to storm water systems. Feature Layer Storm Water Inlets: This layer provides comprehensive data on various storm water inlet structures including catchbasins, rear yard inlets, roof drains, and multiple types of manholes. The dataset was developed from high-resolution aerial imagery captured in Spring 2025, ensuring high positional accuracy suitable for detailed planimetric mapping. Data and Accuracy The data originates from a project funded by the Cape Cod Commission and executed by NV5. The imagery used is a 4-band collection (true color plus near infrared) taken under optimal conditions ensuring minimal shadows, clear visibility, and leaf-off vegetation for enhanced feature identification. The positional accuracy adheres to strict standards with a maximum of 0.38 meters horizontal error at the 95% confidence level.
