Supporting data for 'Managing periodontal diseases with the novel quorum-quenching enzyme Est816'

This dataset contains the experimental data generated during my doctoral research project, which focuses on evaluating the therapeutic potential of the novel quorum-quenching enzyme Est816 against periodontal and peri-implant diseases. The study employs a multi-faceted approach, including in vitro biofilm assays, host-cell interaction studies, and a preclinical animal model.The dataset is organized into several key parts:<b>Biofilm_Assays:</b> Includes raw and processed data from crystal violet staining, colony-forming unit counts, and confocal microscopy assays assessing Est816's effect on <i>Porphyromonas gingivalis</i> biofilm formation.<b>Host_Cell_Studies:</b> Comprises data from inflammatory cytokine measurements (ELISA and qPCR), and osteogenic differentiation assays.<b>Animal_Model_Data:</b> Includes micro-CT bone morphometric parameters, and histological assessment scores from a model of peri-implantitis.All data are structured to facilitate reproducibility. No confidential or sensitive personal information is included.
