For studying the matching of performance simulation model of turboprop engine with adaptation improvement of hydrogen fuel, the performance simulation model of jet fuel turboprop engine was built and optimized by using the engine test data. With the principle that keeping the passage area of engine internal flow, compressor, turbine, air intake and exhaust nozzle unchanged when the adaptation improvement of hydrogen fuel was carried out, the performance simulation model of hydrogen fuel turboprop engine which considering the modifications of fuel calorific value and gas physical parameters and the correction of turbine characteristic was built. The change of gas physical parameters and the correction coefficient of turbine characteristic before and after improvement of hydrogen fuel were calculated and analyzed, and the engine operating parameters before and after turbine characteristic correction were calculated and analyzed with the test data of hydrogen fuel engine. It is shown from the computation results that: the value of main physical parameters of gas, the working capacity of gas and the corrected speed of turbine characteristic increase with adaptation improvement of hydrogen fuel, and the corrected flow of turbine characteristic reduces with adaptation improvement of hydrogen fuel, and the calculated deviation of the main parameters of the performance simulation model which considering the correction of turbine characteristic is -1.6%~+1.7%, and the negative deviation value has been reduced by up to 2.5% and the positive deviation value has been reduced by up to 0.4% compared with that without considering the correction of turbine characteristic.
