Interview of Leo Kerchenske, Sergeant for the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Area, about the Los Angeles Police Department's response to the civil disturbance, and his involvement in helping quell the violence, 1992 July 29. PART OF SERIES: After the violence had subsided, the Webster Commission met of a variety of public officials, law enforcement personnel, activists, and community leaders to discuss the rioting, its root causes, and the adequacy of the LAPD's response.
