Main Endeavour Field South Bottom Pressure Recorder Deployed 2020-09-08

The RBR Quartz3 BPR SN 202321 was deployed on 2020-09-08 at Main Endeavour Field South. Main Endeavour Field South is at the south end of the Main Endeavour Field located along the Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Bottom Pressure Recorder. Bottom Pressure Recorders (BPR) are instruments that can detect small changes in pressure on the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
