Biogeography and population genetics of diversity and divergence in two North American bumble bees species

This study uses genomic, RADseq data from two montane bumble bees with differing elevational habitat across broad latitude and altitudinal gradients to understand how inhabiting heterogeneous, montane habitat influences population genetic structure, diversity, and divergence. Results have implications for understanding the current and future genomic effects of montane habitation, as rising temperatures are predicted to force montane organisms further upslope to track their thermal niche.
