In-situ leaching of uranium ore by acid method causes extreme acidic environment of groundwater and high concentration of sulfate and heavy metal pollution, which poses a serious threat to groundwater and other ecosystems. Using bioreactor to treat acid mine wastewater is a promising technology. In the start-up process of bioreactor, pH is an important factor, which has an important impact on the operation efficiency of the reactor and the function of the microbial community and ecosystem in the reactor. In this paper, the stability, efficiency and response of the microbial community in the treatment of sulfate-containing wastewater by the anaerobic biofilm reactor were studied through the construction of the enhanced microbial community based on SRB.
