Functional trait data for 11 canopy tree species in the control and drought treatments at AU-DRO (2018-2019)

This data package contains foliar abscisic acid levels, xylem anatomy, foliar d13C, leaf mass per area, leaf water potentials, non-structural carbohydrates, and pressure volume curve traits for 11 canopy tree species in the control and drought treatments at the Daintree Rainforest Observatory in Queensland, Australia (AU-DRO). Data were collected at the end of the dry season (Nov 2018) and end of the wet season (May 2019). The species included in the dataset are: Castanospermum australe, Cleistanthus myrianthus, Cryptocarya mackinnoniana, Dysoxylum papuanum, Elaeocarpus angustifolius (Elaeocarpus grandis), Endiandra microneura, Mallotus paniculatus, Myristica globosa, Rockinghamia angustifolia, Synima cordierorum, Syzygium spp. These data correspond to the previously archived dataset “Leaf gas exchange data, Nov 2018 and May 2019, Daintree Rainforest, Australia. NGEE-Tropics Data Archive” (DOI: 10.15486/ngt/1773854).

本数据包包含澳大利亚昆士兰州丹特里雨林观测站（AU-DRO）内11种冠层树种在对照与干旱处理下的叶片脱落酸含量、木质部解剖结构、叶片δ¹³C值、比叶重、叶片水势、非结构性碳水化合物及压力-体积曲线性状。数据采集于旱季末期（2018年11月）与雨季末期（2019年5月）。本数据集涵盖的物种包括：澳洲栗（Castanospermum australe）、多花闭花木（Cleistanthus myrianthus）、麦氏厚壳桂（Cryptocarya mackinnoniana）、巴布亚葱臭木（Dysoxylum papuanum）、狭叶杜英（大果杜英，Elaeocarpus angustifolius (Elaeocarpus grandis)）、小脉润楠（Endiandra microneura）、野桐（Mallotus paniculatus）、球花肉豆蔻（Myristica globosa）、狭叶洛金木（Rockinghamia angustifolia）、科迪罗辛尼玛木（Synima cordierorum）及蒲桃属物种（Syzygium spp.）。本数据集对应此前归档于NGEE-Tropics数据档案馆的"澳大利亚丹特里雨林2018年11月与2019年5月叶片气体交换数据集"（DOI: 10.15486/ngt/1773854）。
