Dataset supporting "Brief communication: Sensitivity analysis of peak water to ice thickness and temperature: A case study in the Western Kunlun Mountains of the Tibetan Plateau"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset accompanies the publication under review "Brief communication: Sensitivity analysis of peak water to ice thickness and temperature: A case study in the Western Kunlun Mountains of the Tibetan Plateau". This folder contains glacier evolution in the study region, modeled as described in the article with the Open Global Glacier Model (OGGM, Maussion et al., 2019). The folder structure is subdivised between the used GCM ('MRI-ESM2-0', 'CESM2-WACCM', 'IPSL-CM6A-LR', 'ACCESS-CM2' or 'ACCESS-ESM1-5'). For each GCM, each files contains the evolution of glaciers variable (volume, area, runoff components) for a given SSP with 'evol_ssp585_spdyn_millan.nc' corresponding to SSP5-8.5 and using (Millan et al., 2022) ice thickness dataset, 'evol_ssp585_spdyn_farinotti.nc' for using (Farinotti et al., 2019) dataset. Results from sensitivity experiments are also available under filenames such as 'evol_ssp126_nosp_sensvol_X.nc' or 'evol_ssp126_nosp_senstemp_X.nc', X being the rank of the varying parameter (initial ice volume multiplying factor or temperature bias). Temperatures and precipitation averaged over the study region are also available for each SSPs. Code used for the figures in the article can be found on linked github repository.
