本数据记录了红椿中吸水性的序号、记录本序号、试样序号、2小时吸水性、4小时吸水性、1昼夜吸水性、2昼夜吸水性、4昼夜吸水性、7昼夜吸水性、10昼夜吸水性、20昼夜吸水性、30昼夜吸水性、40昼夜吸水性、50昼夜吸水性等记录。木材物理力学的各项测定指标，直接反映此种木材的强度等特性，为木材利用和木结构的规范等提供科学数据。本数据库包括物理力学数据和其试验方法（请参看附件1中华人民共和国国家标准GB1927～1943-91《木材物理力学性质试验方法》，附件2木材物理力学各个项目的定义）。

This dataset records the serial numbers of individual water absorbability measurements, serial numbers of test records, specimen serial numbers, as well as water absorbability data at multiple time points including 2 hours, 4 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 4 days, 7 days, 10 days, 20 days, 30 days, 40 days and 50 days. Various measured indicators of wood physical and mechanical properties directly reflect the strength and other characteristics of Toona ciliata, providing scientific support for wood utilization and the formulation of wood structure specifications. This database includes physical and mechanical property data and their corresponding test methods (please refer to Attachment 1: National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB 1927–1943-91 *Test Methods for Physical and Mechanical Properties of Wood*, and Attachment 2: Definitions of various items related to wood physical and mechanical properties).
