Northern Gulf of Mexico Benthic and Planktic Foraminifera Taxonomy, 2011-2015

This dataset consists of species-level benthic and planktic foraminiferal assemblages identified from sediment cores taken throughout the northern Gulf of Mexico with relation to the Deepwater Horizon and the Southern Gulf of Mexico in relation to the Ixtoc 1 platform.

本数据集包含经物种级鉴定的底栖有孔虫（benthic foraminifera）与浮游有孔虫（planktic foraminifera）组合群，其样本源自两类沉积物岩芯：一类采自墨西哥湾北部全域，关联深水地平线（Deepwater Horizon）事件；另一类采自墨西哥湾南部，关联伊克斯托克1号钻井平台（Ixtoc 1 platform）。
