A cohort study of vaginal flora changes and HPV regression of cervical cancer in Chinese women after cervical loop electrosurgery

This study recruited 35 women who visited Yuebei People's Hospital in Shaoguan City, China. All subjects underwent HPV examination, colposcopy, cervical biopsy and cervical canal scratching, 35 women diagnosed with CIN2/3 underwent Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP ) surgery. Changes in cervical microbiota and differences in vaginal microbiota between different patterns of HPV infection were compared in CIN2/3 women at 6 months after LEEP. The vaginal microecological diversity after conization was lower than that before conization, and the same results were observed in both the single HPV infection group and the positive margin group. The increase of Lactobacillus and bifidobacterium and the decrease of Prevota were observed in each subgroup after coning.
