The High-Value Patent Database for Fruit Fresh-Keeping Technology mainly includes invention patents and utility model patents related to fruit fresh-keeping technology from global patent databases. Patent data has been retrieved and evaluated with our proprietary algorithm, which helps to understand the intellectual property application status and geographic layout of fruit fresh-keeping technologies. By comparing the patent data of fruit fresh-keeping technologies across different enterprises, one can grasp the technological innovation capabilities of each enterprise; understanding the development trends and core technologies of fruit fresh-keeping technologies also helps enterprises avoid redundant R&D and intellectual property infringement. This database is developed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Starting from the patent valuation methodology, the patent value indicator system is divided into three first-level indicators: technological, legal, and economic value. Under each first-level indicator are second-level indicators, including: 1. Technological value indicators: number of independent claims, word count of the independent claim, remaining patent term, number of patent families, number of cited patents, number of citing patents, score of applicant type, number of participating inventors, and number of involved technical fields; 2. Legal value indicators: patent type, number of document pages, number of invalidation requests; 3. Economic value indicators: number of transfers, number of licenses, number of pledge financing cases, score of patent awards, score of customs recordation. A three-dimensional matrix is established based on the first-level and second-level indicators. Corresponding data indicators for patent evaluation are obtained through patent interface data using patent names and patent numbers. The 1-9 scaling method (minimum 1 point, maximum 9 points) is adopted to calculate the weights of each indicator, and the scores of each indicator are calculated using the corresponding weights. The sum of all indicator scores is the final patent score. Patents are classified according to the score intervals: 80-100 points are high-value patents, 60-80 points are important patents, and those below 60 points are general patents. This database provides technical references and guidance for R&D personnel of fruit fresh-keeping technology enterprises, and supports R&D decision-making for companies. All data results mentioned in the above algorithms are reflected in the data structure.
