Knockdown of Glucocorticoid receptor at the choroid plexus in the context of psychological stress leads to the recruitment of T cells into the brain. These T cells show a non-encephalitogenic pattern of T cell associated gene expression. Mice were induced with a knockdown of glucocoritocid receptor on the choroid plexus, followed by exposure to psychological stress using electrical foot-shock. 14 days after exposure to stress, brain parenchyma was collected, sorted for T cells and analyzed for single cell gene expression
