Glucocorticoid mesocosm experiment with Ambystoma talpoideum, Oxford, MS, USA 2016

We performed a glucocorticoid manipulation study in outdoor mesocosms containing developing larvae of the mole salamander Ambystoma talpoideum (Ambystomatidae) to examine the impact of glucocorticoids on facultative paedomorphosis. They study lasted for one year. It dosed individuals with foure levels of glucocorticoids (control, low, medium, high; N=32, n = 8, k=4) and we measured morphological response variables of developing larvae. <br>There are many datasets here, but all of them are directly referenced in the R script in their appropriate sections. Half of them are simply used for graphing purposes.

本研究在包含鼹钝口螈（Ambystoma talpoideum，钝口螈科Ambystomatidae）发育幼体的野外中宇宙实验系统（outdoor mesocosms）中开展了糖皮质激素（glucocorticoid）操控实验，以探究糖皮质激素对其兼性幼态持续（facultative paedomorphosis）的影响。本实验周期为一年，实验个体被施加四个梯度的糖皮质激素处理（对照组、低剂量组、中剂量组、高剂量组；总样本量N=32，每组n=8，处理组数k=4），并对发育幼体的形态学响应变量进行了测定。
本数据集包含多组数据，所有数据均已在R脚本的对应章节中直接引用，其中半数仅用于绘图可视化。
