This study utilized 24 long-term flux tower sites with more than 10 years of continuous observations, to analyze the effects of freeze-thaw events on ecosystem net carbon exchange (NEE) and ecosystem respiration (RE), and to explore the resistance of ecosystem carbon exchange to freeze-thaw events.
