Natural gas consumption in Egypt 2011-2023

Egypt's natural gas consumption reached 60 billion cubic meters in 2023. Compared to the previous year, this was a decrease from 60.6 billion cubic meters. Overall, natural gas consumption in the country increased compared to 2011, dropping between 2013 and 2015, and from 2019 to 2020. Between 2015 and 2018, the country consumed more natural gas than it produced. On the contrary, the trend has been reversed in recent years, making the country able to export the excess on the international market.

埃及在2023年的天然气消费量达到了600亿立方米。与上一年相比，这一数字有所下降，从前一年的606亿立方米减少。总体而言，与2011年相比，该国的天然气消费量有所上升，但在2013年至2015年以及2019年至2020年期间出现了下降。在2015年至2018年期间，该国的天然气消费量超过了其产量。相反，近年来这一趋势已经逆转，使得该国能够将过剩的天然气出口至国际市场。
