资源简介:
The causative agent of cholera, Vibrio cholerae, originated in the aquatic environment and has continued to evolve throughout history. An analysis of the V. cholerae O1 El Tor strains responsible for the ongoing seventh pandemic revealed that the strains evolved from nonpathogenic ancestors to acquire El Tor-form tcpA genes, CTX prophages, and vibrio seventh pandemic islands I and II. Two main circulating lineages for 7th pandemic El Tor (7PET) have been identified in bangladesh in terms of genomic attributes, SNPs, phage-inducible chromosomal island-like element (PLE), toxin encoding elements. We aims to examine the relationship between V. cholerae genotypic and fenotipic features in these two lineages, specifically BD-1.2 and BD-2. We used the clinical symptoms, environmental factors and their associated genetic features to be able to understand the symptom and linegae-associated genetic factors.
