The Zhanjiang Chicken Muscle Protein and Amino Acid Detection Dataset records the protein and amino acid detection results of chicken legs and breast muscles from all submitted samples, conducted by the Zhanjiang Institute of Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing of Guangdong Province. This dataset was developed based on data acquired via testing, sample collection, analysis and processing by the Zhanjiang Institute of Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing of Guangdong Province. It covers information including the number of submitted samples, report number, detection items, production date, sample receipt date, sample quantity, initial test completion time, testing equipment, detection standards, protein content and amino acid content. After conducting data labeling, anonymization, modeling and analysis on information such as sample quantity, initial test completion time, report number, testing equipment, detection standards and test results, the finalized Zhanjiang Chicken Muscle Protein and Amino Acid Detection Dataset was developed by the institute. The dataset has multiple application scenarios in food safety and quality control, animal husbandry production and breed improvement, scientific research and proteomics, as well as food processing and storage. It can not only support nutrient composition analysis, but also effectively identify counterfeit products and maintain market order by detecting specific proteins in chicken muscles such as myofibrillar proteins.
