The apical hook is the predominant organ to suffer the mechanical pressure and sense the first beam of light when protruding through the soil. In order to understand the organ specific mechanism of this phenomenon, we performed RNA-sequencing analysis using cotyledon, apical hook and hypocotyl organs of 4-day dark grown Col-0 and pifq mutant Overall design: Totally 9 wild type samples and 9 pifq mutant samples, three organs and each has three replicates.
