SEMANTIC REPRESENTATION OF NATIONAL-CULTURAL VALUES IN LANGUAGE
收藏资源简介:
This article explores the semantic representation of national-cultural values in language and examines how linguistic units reflect the traditions, beliefs, customs, and worldview of a particular nation. Language serves not only as a communication tool but also as a means of preserving cultural heritage and transmitting national identity from one generation to another. The study focuses on lexical units, phraseological expressions, proverbs, and culturally marked concepts that embody national-cultural meanings. Special attention is given to semantic analysis, conceptual analysis, and comparative linguistic methods as effective tools for identifying cultural meanings encoded in language. The research demonstrates that words often contain hidden cultural information that can only be understood within a specific social and historical context. Through the analysis of linguistic examples from different languages, the study reveals both universal and culture-specific semantic features. The findings highlight the importance of semantic studies in understanding intercultural communication, preserving national identity, and expanding modern linguistic research related to language and culture.
