Kelp rafts in the Southern Ocean

Records of observations of kelp rafts passing within 50 m of one side of the vessel over replicated periods of 1 hour. Data collected over subantarctic latitudes only. Records include: size, species, presence/absence of holdfast, latitude and longitude, ship speed.

本数据集包含在重复开展的1小时观测时段内，对经过观测船单侧50米范围内的巨藻浮体（kelp rafts）进行观测所得到的记录。所有数据仅采集自亚南极纬度（subantarctic latitudes）区域，记录内容涵盖：巨藻浮体尺寸、物种、固着器（holdfast）有无状态、经纬度以及船舶航速。
