Fire and demographic attrition of the Tasmanian palaeoendemic conifer Athrotaxis cupressoides

These datasets are from three interrelated projects investigating the status and fire responses of the Tasmanian palaeoendemic conifer Athrotaxis cupressoides. Each file contains a worksheet with explanations the measurements.<br><br>(i) a broad scale geographic survey of the status of Athrotaxis populations in relation to past fire history and herbivory (Details are presented in Bowman et al. - submitted to Austral Ecology)<br>Athrotaxis_adult stems &amp; stand structure_geographic survey.xlsx lists the status of individual stems in the study area<br><br>Athrotaxis_geographic survey data.xlsx presents the environmental data for each study transect<br><br><br>(ii) an intensive survey of three Athrotaxis populations a year after the 2016 wildfire at Lake Mackenzie (details of this are published by Bowman et al. (2019) in Austral Ecology (doi:10.1111/aec.12789)<br>(iii) a small study of the effects of experimental fire on seedlings of Athrotaxis and co-occurring species, published by Prior et al (2018) in the Australian Journal of Botany (https://doi.org/10.1071/BT18124)<br>
