PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques that cause no silencing of expressed genes in the expression of a target gene using plant cells， maintaining a stable expression level over the progeny， and can harvest seeds efficiently. SOLUTION: The recombinant protein is expressed in plant cells such as lettuce using a lettuce ubiquitin promoter and an Arabidopsis thaliana heat shock protein 18.2 terminator.
