Open Space

Data were developed to describe the available open space resources within the City of Worcester, MA, for the purposes of updating the City's existing 2005 Open Space Master Plan. Work performed was consistent with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Environmental Affairs 'Open Space Planner's Workbook'. Further updates made by the City of Worcester. Data are intended to provide support for needs assessment, community preferences, regulatory compliance, enhanced living, budgetary concerns, zoning, and administration.
