资源简介:
The dataset was created as part of a doctoral research project aimed at characterizing and 3D modeling the sedimentary heterogeneities of the Albian clayey-sandy reservoir in the Paris Basin, using an outcrop study of a deltaic reservoir analogue (the Roda Sandstone, southern Pyrenean Basin). This work was supported by the program UPGEO “UPscaling and heat simulations for improving the efficiency of deep GEOthermal energy” funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR-19-CE05-0032-01). This dataset includes the data used and described in the second chapter of the thesis manuscript entitled “Deciphering tidal signature in a fluvial-dominated delta using Digital Outcrop Models (Roda Sandstone, Eocene, South Pyrenean Basin)”. This chapter focuses on the sedimentological study of a portion of the Roda Sandstone Formation, referred to as “Y sandbody” in the literature, based on drilling and archive data, field sedimentological surveys, and the interpretation of a high-resolution, georeferenced photogrammetric model. The model covers an area of around 3.3 km² with a resolution of between 0.003 and 0.03 m. This dataset contains: 20 sedimentological sections from both outcrops and descriptions of 7 cored boreholes A Digital Outcrop Model consisting of 7 georeferenced photogrammetric models, available in different formats (Scene Layer Package (.slpk), point cloud (.las), 3D object with texture (.obj, .mtl, .jpg)) Observation and interpretation data from the Digital Outcrop Model: digitized and localized logs and boreholes, identification of major surfaces (Maximum Flooding Surfaces and Maximum Regressive Surfaces), dip measurements, 3D facies mapping A README file providing detailed information for each file of the dataset The Digital Outcrop Model can be viewed in various 3D visualization, specialized interpretation, or geomodeling software (ArcGIS, Surfer, VRGS, Petrel, Windows 3D Viewer, Apple 3D Model Viewer, etc.). The interpreted data can be imported into GIS or geomodeling software for visualization or processing. The high-resolution interpreted Digital Outcrop Model can also be used for further studies or educational purposes.
