The main goal of the present study is to evaluate the in vivo neuroprotective capacity of a Dunaliella salina microalga extract using an Alzheimer's disease transgenic model of Caenorhabditis elegans (CL4176), and to investigate the transcriptomics and metabolomics changes produced after the treatment by using advanced methodologies (RNA-Seq and GC/LC-MS technologies).
