Abundance and biomass of mesozooplankton from the Romanian littoral during DANUBS_2002 in spring and autumn 2002

The Danubs 2002 dataset contains zooplankton data collected in April, June,September and October 2002 in 11 station allong 5 transect in front of the Romanian littoral. Zooplankton sampling was undertaken at 11 stations where samples were collected using a Juday closing net in the 0-10, 10-25, and 25-50m layer (depending also on the water masses). The dataset includes samples analysed for mesozooplankton species composition and abundance.

Danubs 2002数据集收录了2002年4月、6月、9月及10月，在罗马尼亚沿岸前方5条断面的11个采样站采集的浮游动物（zooplankton）数据。该数据集的11个采样站均采用Juday闭锁式网（Juday closing net）进行浮游动物采样，按0~10 m、10~25 m及25~50 m水层分层采集样品，具体分层亦会根据实际水团（water masses）情况调整。本数据集包含针对中型浮游动物（mesozooplankton）的物种组成与丰度进行分析得到的样品数据。
