Operating budget SPF Finance

This table provides an overview of the FPS Finance annual operating budget. Commitment appropriations, committed amounts, liquidation appropriations and amounts liquidated shall be presented by calendar year respectively. This is still the situation at the end of the year. The amounts are displayed in thousands of euros. SFPI is the abbreviation for ‘Société Fédérale de Participations et d’Investissement’. For 2017 data: The 2017 budgetary prudence circular imposed an administrative freeze on appropriations. These administrative blockages for the FPS Finance amounted to EUR 155971000 (commitments strand) and an amount of EUR 159381000 (liquidation strand) In the table, the appropriations mentioned include the initial appropriations minus the blockages imposed. The appropriations relating to: dossier “Support Plan for Greece” approved by the Eurogroup; dossier “Amount SMP Belgium”. For 2018 data: The fiscal prudence circular 2018 imposed an administrative freeze on appropriations. These administrative blockages for the FPS Finance amounted to EUR 175317000 (commitments and liquidations component). In the table, the appropriations mentioned include the initial appropriations minus the blockages imposed. The appropriations relating to the following files were also disregarded: support plan for Greece approved by the Eurogroup; amount SMP Belgium; Belgian participation in the AIIB; amounts paid to another guarantee scheme; Belgian contribution to IDA 18. For 2019 data: In 2019, we were in the system of provisional twelfths and there was no blockage of credit.
