本数据集包含如下研究内容：其一，对26所学校校长开展结构化访谈，议题聚焦学校水、环境卫生与个人卫生（WASH）管理工作，涵盖海啸灾后及新冠疫情期间的管理现状，以及政府与非政府组织（NGOs）对学校的帮扶举措；其二，在18所学校开展针对其WASH状况的结构化观察；其三，在7所学校面向师生开展焦点小组讨论（Focus Group Discussions），共计开展14场，议题围绕学校WASH设施现状，以及如何解决已识别出的相关问题；其四，在3所学校中对48名在校女学生开展问卷调查，以了解其月经卫生管理行为，以及在校期间对所获支持的感知程度。
