Data points for methane-ethane solidus collected at the Astrophysical Materials Lab at Northern Arizona University.<br>Lower and upper diode values are the average of the temperatures for each spectrum taken in a cell scan and then an average of those values before and after crossing the solidus boundary<br>Temperature calibration for solidus data was obtained using experimental values from literature of the freezing point of methane, the point of nitrogen, and the alpha-beta transition of nitrogen. For the freezing points, we decreased the temperature of the lower diode by increments of 0.01 until ice was visibly apparent. Since the alpha-beta transition is not visible, we identified it by the Raman shift in the nitrogen peak. Overall, the correction is small and approximately linear.

本数据集包含北亚利桑那大学天体物理材料实验室采集的甲烷-乙烷固相线(methane-ethane solidus)数据点。上下二极管的数值为样品池扫描过程中每条采集光谱对应的温度平均值,随后对跨过固相线边界前后的上述平均值再次取平均。固相线数据的温度校准采用了文献中报道的甲烷凝固点、氮凝固点以及氮的α-β相变点的实验值。针对凝固点的校准,我们以0.01为步长逐步降低下二极管的温度,直至肉眼可观测到冰的生成。由于α-β相变无法通过视觉直接观测,我们通过氮特征峰的拉曼位移(Raman shift)对其进行识别。整体而言,该校正幅度较小且近似呈线性关系。
