2019新型冠状病毒(2019-nCoV),因2019年武汉病毒性肺炎病例而被发现,2020年1月12日被世界卫生组织命名。冠状病毒是一个大型病毒家族,已知可引起感冒以及中东呼吸综合征(MERS)和严重急性呼吸综合征(SARS)等较严重疾病。新型冠状病毒是以前从未在人体中发现的冠状病毒新毒株。 2020年1月21日,国家卫健委发布1号公告,将新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎纳入《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》规定的乙类传染病,并采取甲类传染病的预防、控制措施。如今距离病毒首次大规模爆发已有一年半之久,经过长达一年半时间的努力,中国政府已经在防疫方面积累了丰富的经验,但疫情未歇,全国各地乃至国际上多个国家仍在为抗击疫情而奋斗着。病毒被发现之初,中国迅速分离出新型冠状病毒并完成了全病毒基因组的核酸测序、研制出新型冠状病毒核酸检测试剂盒,测序速度受到世卫组织肯定。虽然目前对于新型冠状病毒所致疾病没有特异治疗方法,但许多症状是可以处理的,因此需根据患者临床情况进行治疗,相关疫苗及治疗药物研制也正紧张进行着。
The 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was first identified in cases of viral pneumonia detected in Wuhan, China, in 2019, and was officially named by the World Health Organization (WHO) on January 12, 2020. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses known to cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The novel coronavirus identified in this outbreak is a new strain of coronavirus that has never been previously found in humans.
On January 21, 2020, the National Health Commission (NHC) of the People's Republic of China issued its first official announcement, classifying pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus as a Class B infectious disease in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases, and implementing the prevention and control measures applicable to Class A infectious diseases. As of one and a half years since the first large-scale outbreak of the virus, the Chinese government has accumulated extensive experience in epidemic prevention and control through arduous efforts spanning a year and a half. Nevertheless, the pandemic remains ongoing, and regions across China as well as multiple countries around the world are still fighting to contain the epidemic. At the initial stage of the virus's discovery, China rapidly isolated the novel coronavirus, completed full-length nucleic acid sequencing of its entire genome, and developed nucleic acid detection kits for the virus. Its rapid sequencing speed was recognized by the WHO. Although there are currently no specific therapeutic treatments for the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, many of its symptoms can be managed, so treatment should be tailored to the patient's clinical conditions. Meanwhile, the development of relevant vaccines and therapeutic drugs is progressing at an accelerated pace.
