Data for: Mammalian Faunas, Ecological Indices, and Machine-Learning Regression for the Purpose of Paleoenvironment Reconstruction in the Miocene of South America

Data sets containing presence/absence and richness data for modern mammalian faunas across Central and South America, as well as Australia. Also included is similar data for two fossil localities from the Miocene of South America; the Monkey Beds unit of La Venta, Colombia and the Puesto Estancia La Costa unit from Santa Cruz, Argentina.
