Areas of Identified Tidal Stream Resource defining boundary of policy TIDE1 in the East Inshore and East Offshore marine plans Web Feature Service (WFS)

The dataset sets out areas of identified tidal stream resource that could be harnessed in the future for power generation and as such are protected by policy TIDE1 in the East Inshore and East Offshore marine plans. The areas have been identified using the same parameters that defined The Crown Estates Wave and Tidal Key Resource Areas work but are limited to the East inshore and East offshore marine plan areas. The MMO used UKHO bathymetry data filtered to sites of 5m depth and over and the Atlas of UK Renewable Energy Resource with mean spring peak current fitlered to over 1.5metres per second.本数据集列明了经识别的潮流能资源区域，此类资源未来可用于发电，且已依据《东近岸及东远海海洋规划》中的TIDE1政策获得保护。上述区域的识别采用了与英国皇家地产（The Crown Estate）《波浪与潮流关键资源区》研究项目一致的参数，但仅限定于东近岸及东远海海洋规划覆盖范围之内。英国海洋管理局（Marine Management Organisation, MMO）采用了经筛选的英国海军水道测量局（United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, UKHO）测深数据，筛选条件为水深不低于5米的区域；同时采用了《英国可再生能源资源图集》的数据，其平均大潮峰值流速筛选标准为不低于1.5米每秒。
