Southern Surveyor Voyage SS2013_v04, Pigment and Ocean Colour Data

This record contains data collected on the RV Southern Surveyor within the Indian ocean during July 2013. Samples were collected between Fremantle and Broome. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and retrieved chlorophyll a estimate, and the absorption coefficient for particulate (a/p) and detrital or non-algal (a/d) components of the water column. A total of 29 stations were sampled (including 5 underway locations).

本数据集包含2013年7月于印度洋“南方调查号（RV Southern Surveyor）”科考船上采集的实测数据。样本采集范围覆盖弗里曼特尔（Fremantle）至布鲁姆（Broome）海域。该数据集可用于海洋水色传感器（Ocean Colour sensor）的性能验证。本次实测参数包括叶绿素与类胡萝卜素色素浓度、反演得到的叶绿素a估算值，以及水柱中颗粒态（a/p）与碎屑/非藻类（a/d）组分的吸收系数。本次共完成29个站位的采样，其中包含5个走航采样点位。
