YH001 is isolated from fermented food kimchi, which has been confirmed to have strong probiotic ability in previous experiments, such as bacteriostatic ability, acid and bile salt resistance, self-aggregation ability, surface hydrophobicity, etc. Utilizing the next-generation whole-genome sequencing (WGS) technique can elucidate the gene function, metabolic networks, biological pathways, evolutionary relationships, and genome structure of the screened strains, laying a foundation for its potential application as a probiotic.
