Dataset for: Islamic Representation in Indonesian EFL Coursebooks: A Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis

This dataset supports the study entitled "Islamic Representation in Indonesian EFL Coursebooks: A Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis". The dataset contains 56 semiotic resources identified from three Indonesian EFL coursebooks for junior high school students. For each semiotic resource, the dataset provides information on the source coursebook, publisher, page number, and a brief description of the visual or multimodal material analyzed in the study. The dataset serves as the primary data source for the Multimodal Critical Discourse Analysis (MCDA) conducted in the associated publication. The descriptions are intended to facilitate identification of the semiotic resources and support transparency and reproducibility of the research findings.
